| The buffet is overpriced. The wait staff is slow and not attentive. They left a dirty plate and extra dirty coffee cup on my table despite passing it several times. I've had better service at Denny's and there were only two tables with people. The wait staff hovered around the front entrance and did little to make our breakfast enjoyable. It made an otherwise good experience at this hotel a bad memory. In short, I would recommend this hotel, but go elsewhere for breakfast. |

| When I checked in I was first greeted by two very friendly and helpful agents at the front desk. Very nice girls! My room was modern and clean and the location was very convenient. Later I had drinks at the bar which boasted a happy hour that went to 7PM. The bartenders were very nice too. All in all, my stay at the Marriott Bakersfield was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone. |

| The people were very friendly, helpful and accommodating! It was clean. One thing we would have liked...a small fridge in the room. Also the heating vent made a great deal of noise when turning on and off...startling us as we were falling asleep. We did change rooms after two nights and it was slightly better. |

| Our room was stinking..bathroom was stinking..no ventilation..i felt as if a rat died in there..i am not sure if this was how it is in other rooms too.. |

| Ontvangst is eerder koel en zeer argwanend alsof er zelden Europese toeristen komen. Ik kreeg pas een welkom vanaf het moment dat de receptionniste mijn naam in hun systeem had gevonden. |

| I had an excellent experience at the Bakersfield Marriott; right next door to the concert venue (Rabobank Arena), it was the perfect location. The room was very comfortable and I slept really well, which is unusual for me. Room service was great and timely. Only issue was that one of our party was approached by a panhandler, inside the lobby. When this was reported to the front desk, they immediately responded. Everyone was very friendly and I was allowed to check in early. |

| Quality for cost was superior however a bug (kind of looking like roach) fell out of our information book in our room. Bed very comfortable, nice linens. Room service was excellent- we had drinks and a sandwich but menu had enough choices for any time of day. . Bar and lobby area very attractive, Poolside area great for our party. Good service, good food reasonable price for Birthday Party! Taco bar was wonderful and servers were discrete and timely.

| Clean & quiet, close to downtown for business. Be sure to ask for a room facing the street. Easy access to freeway 99 yet, far enough away so there is no freeway noise. |

| The room was great -- large, clean, and comfortable. The only problem was the poor internet connection. It was virtually unusable. If that issue is overcome, this is a great hotel. |
